Cookie policy

Last updated 13 September 2026. Grad Recruit Ltd, England and Wales.

Grad Recruit Ltd uses cookies and similar storage (local storage, service workers) so Grad Recruit works. We do not use advertising cookies or sell browsing data.

What this covers

UK law (PECR, read with UK GDPR) treats cookies and similar technologies together. This page covers cookies, local storage, the service worker for phone alerts, and first-party analytics.

Strictly necessary

These are required for the site to function. They do not need consent under PECR.

  • Sign-in session so you stay logged in.
  • Guest and signed-in workspace data in this browser (profile, stories, campaigns) until you clear it or sync it to an account.
  • Security and load controls (for example rate limits on codes and Coach).
  • Stripe checkout cookies on the payment pages, set by Stripe when you start Pro.

Alerts

If you allow notifications, this browser keeps a push subscription so matching-role alerts can arrive with the tab closed. That is optional. You grant it in the browser prompt and can revoke it in site settings.

Analytics

We record anonymous page views, sessions, referrers and a small set of feature taps so we can see which parts of the product are used. This is first-party. It does not include your name, email, stories or application answers. Events older than 90 days are dropped. We treat this as a legitimate interest in running the service. You can turn it off with the Product analytics switch on this page, in Account, or in settings. The site still works if you turn it off.

What we do not use

- Third-party advertising cookies. - Social plugins that track you across sites. - Cross-site marketing pixels.

How to control them

Use the Product analytics switch above to stop first-party stats on this device. Use your browser settings to clear cookies and site data, block third-party cookies, or remove Grad Recruit from the home screen. Signing out ends the session cookie. Clearing this site’s data removes guest work stored here. Signed-in work remains on your account until you ask us to delete it — see Privacy.
