Terms and conditions

These terms govern use of Grad Recruit, provided by Grad Recruit Ltd (“we”). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not, do not use the service. Ask Coach usage (how the monthly pool is counted) is set out below.
Who we are

The service
Grad Recruit is a workspace, not a job board. Find a live role on Radar, or add one you already found. My applications holds one campaign per listing. A personal coach, powered by Grok, is available on Pro. You always finish and send the form on the employer’s own site. We are not a recruitment agency, we are not an employer, and we do not make offers.
Accounts
- Guest may browse Radar. Work stays in this browser. - Basic is a free registered account for a saved profile, alerts, 3 live campaigns, 8 stories, Form studio, a cover letter on each campaign, and 60 tests. Coach, cover letter templates, video and sector test packs are Pro. - Creating an account means you accept these terms and the privacy notice. Optional Grad Recruit news emails are off unless you opt in. - Pro is a paid subscription billed monthly by Stripe from the day you start. Cancel anytime before the renewal date. - You must give accurate details and keep your sign-in safe. Email is a sign-in name, not a message inbox from us. - We may suspend an account that abuses the service, scrapes Radar, or tries to use it to submit applications for other people.
Listings
Cards on Radar are named listings with a working employer URL at the last sweep. Windows change. An employer may close, fill or change a programme without telling us. Always check the employer’s application page before you submit. We do not guarantee that a listing is still open, that you are eligible, or that applying will lead to a job. “For you” is a filter from your profile, not a prediction or a fit score.
Your content
Stories, drafts, CVs and cover letters remain yours. You give us a licence to store and display them so the product works for you. You must not paste other people’s confidential material, or content you do not have the right to use. Coach suggestions are optional drafts you must read and edit; you stay responsible for what you send to an employer. A weaker or unedited Coach rewrite is not a substitute for your own application.
Ask Coach
Ask Coach is included with Pro and Campus Pro. Guest and Basic cannot run it.
Pro includes a pool of 50 Coach asks each calendar month. Extra packs you buy are added to that pool and stay until you spend them. They are a one-off payment, not a second subscription. Included asks reset on the first of the month (UTC). Extra credits do not reset.
Asks are weighted by the work Coach does, not one tap equals one ask:
- Short question: 1 ask
- Written answer or listing review: 1–2 asks
- Cover letter review: 2–3 asks
- Cover letter drafted from the Role description and your CV: 3 asks
- CV rewrite against the listing: 3 asks
Shorter / more professional / more casual restyle of a letter is a local tool on this site and does not use an ask. After a live reply we settle the charge against how much Coach actually used, inside the band above. If Coach does not run (the model is down, the call times out, or we show a local fallback), we do not deduct an ask.
Coach suggestions are optional drafts. You must read and edit them. You stay responsible for what you send to an employer.
Pro and payments
Prices are in pounds sterling. Pro is currently £4.99 per month from the day you start. A promo may waive a fee. Payment is handled by Stripe. Consumer cancellation rights for digital services apply as set out at checkout. Cancel in Account to stop renewal. We do not refund time already used in a paid period unless the law requires it. Extra Coach credit packs are a one-off card payment for additional asks in the pool above; they are not a second subscription and we do not auto-renew them. Campus seats for careers services are agreed with each university or college and are not listed as a public price — see For careers services.
Acceptable use
- Do not try to overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service beyond normal use. - Do not use Grad Recruit to mislead employers or to submit applications in someone else’s name. - Do not use Coach or listings to generate fabricated work history.
Liability
We provide Grad Recruit with reasonable care. We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. We are not liable for an employer’s hiring decision, a missed deadline on the employer’s site, or loss that was not foreseeable. For consumers, your statutory rights are not affected. For business or campus use, our liability in any year is limited to the fees paid to us for that year.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top is the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms. Material changes to Pro pricing are shown before the next charge.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that a consumer may also bring a claim in their home UK nation.
