When do graduate schemes open?

UK graduate recruitment is a rolling year, not one deadline. Here is the typical month-by-month pattern — then check Radar for what is actually live.

Most UK schemes are not a single closing date. Banking and consulting tend to open in August and September. Big 4 service lines often follow in September and October. Public programmes and many internships run later. Rolling offices can fill as soon as they have enough people.

Spring weeks sit earlier in the year for first-years: a short scramble, often nine weeks, not one national date. Internships and placements peak from January to March. Apprenticeships and degree apprenticeships keep moving through spring.
